The NN4Y and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) hosted a webinar about the types of sexual exploitation that can be reported to the CyberTipline and how to access the wide range of support services NCMEC’s specialized team can provide survivors, including emotional support, assistance with removing content, referrals to specially trained mental health professionals.

In 2021 alone, the NCMEC’s CyberTipline received over 29 million reports of suspected child sexual exploitation. This perspective has given NCMEC a unique view of the abuse children and youth face online. Often, youth disclose the abuse and exploitation they’ve experienced to the direct service providers and victim advocates they trust first.
